Mantels in the spotlight. Because Beth says so.

I'm fairly certain I'm obsessed with mantels.  I find myself over at countryliving.com or bhg.com or some other .com for decorators pulling up image after image of fireplace mantels, junked mantels just resting on its laurels against a shabbified wall, sleek white marble mantels, cardboard red brick jobies with tissue paper flames in Santa's place at the mall.....yeah, I have a sickness.

But guess what?  Beth and The Stories from A to Z suffers the same malady!  Hooray...misery loves company someone to share the love!  Check this out:

Here's my offering.  Three mantelscapes for your viewing pleasure.  All of which you've prolly seen before.  That's ok.  It's good to see stuff over and over again. Humor me.

In the fall:

Christmas:

Currently:

Ta da!  I'm so gonna do something with that brick now that I'll have Beth's place to showcase it.  I love blogland.  Nothing would ever get done around here if not for an audience. :)

Hi Cindy,

I see you've been quite busy! I love your new year mantra: let go of the likes for the loves. (I've been repeating it to myself around here.)
Thanks for sharing the mantel party. Now that Christmas is over with I need some inspiration. I like the HOME sign with the bird you have propped on your 'fall' mantel.

How true - blogland keeps me motivated! I have accomplished much more since I've started blogging. Love your mantel and I've said it before, but I'll say it again: I love, love that mirror!

I am green with mantle envy, lol! I am working on getting one by next fall though! I hope mine will look a savvy as yours! Blogland is such a motivator...it's so nice when there's someone out there to give you compliments and encouragement, isn't it?! Keep those mantlescapes coming...I keep showing hubby to give him ideas!

You make me laugh out loud which is one of the many reasons I love you. Yay for mantel crazies! I am so glad I'm not the only closet-mantel freak. And I was just admiring your last pic the other day and thinking it would be fun to fill the jars with coffee beans. Hmmm...yeah...come to think of it my subconscious was probably stealing that idea from your daughter's wedding. I'll have to visit more often so I can steal all your mantel ideas for my weekly party :). Thanks for being fabulous and for linking up.

Hey, you hit the proverbial nail on the head with that statement. Nothing would ever get done around here if not for an audience either! I so love your creative mantel vignettes. Our mantel is in what we consider "my husband's personal domain (living room)." So I can't just decorate it whenever I want. (You know how men don't like change.) My space is the garden room, and believe you me I do whatever I want in here!

Cool party! I'll have to go check it out!

I LOVE your mantel. The mirror/wreath/star combo has me wanting to snatch it clean out of my monitor and put it on my mantel instead.

Someone needs to invent a way to change out mantel components for quick easy changeable solutions. I always want mine different, right down to the rock and wood. Every other day. You think YOU have a sickness.

I love mantels-we just finished a renovation of our cottage and actually installed a fireplace. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do with the mantel. I love a good challenge. Really love yours, very soothing.

Thanks for sharing those photos - I'm feeling a little sad about taking the Christmas decorations down but this is inspiring. Just because Christmas is over doesn't mean it has to be dreary!

Oh - I also wanted to say I love the beans in the jar idea - I saw this in a restaurant in Tuscany last summer and thought it was great!

Love the simple grapevine wreath and muted colors you used on each mantel-scape! I just painted my fireplace from red brick to white, and absolutely adore it.
And I completely agree with you...without my blog, nothing would get done around my home. That's why I love blogland!!:)

Love what you did with your mantel. Hasn't this been a fun party? It's my first...

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such an affirming comment. I have actually just started a new blog called All Things Home where I will feel a little more comfortable joining in more parties and doing more decor blogs.

Can't wait to be more involved with all of you gifted ladies. You are all awesome.

God Bless.
