Fallishness 2011 Pt. 2: Here there and everywhere

Yesterday I showed you the mantel.

Today I shall show you the 'sundry' other places I mentioned yesterday
where I laid on some more autumnal goodness.
Even though I'm soooo not ready to see summer fly away south.
(take me wiiiiithhhh youuuuuuu!)

Other parts of the family room (shoulda fluffed the cushions).

Picked up the above bad boys at IKEA....speaking of which, here's what I cozied up with last night.....
Lots of familar faces from the blogging world in the BH&G mag.

Here's a corner of my front living room, which I haven't finished, so this is all you get for now.
Remember, patience is a virtue.  So they say.

You can see where the old door wound up (for now).  Added a new coffee filter wreath for grins.

Copperish mercury glass from TJ Marshalls...

Last up is the hallway, again not finished but close enough.
I actually repainted the hallway, but still need to touch up the trim.

The shelf used to hang in my dining nook.
I also painted and shabbified the bench.

I think I'll make a banner/garland/bunting for the pegs until we start using them for winter wear.

This is as close to orange as I'll get this fall.

Towards the front door.
The little shelf thingy that used to be in the master bedroom got a coat of white paint,
and holds the only other Halloweenie thing I have.

Perfect fit for this wee space and a great place to tuck library books and other stuff that we need to remember to take with us on our way out the door.
We still forget most days....

And lastly, a sneaky peaky of the kitchen, which is going thru a mini-reno.

Last week:

Yesterday:

And that's it for now.

I suppose I'll get into the season more, if this dark, gloomy cold rain would let up.
But some plastic folliage and warm browns help. :)

Love the old door in the corner... I think it's my favorite thing even if it's not quite "done"!

Everything looks so warm and cozy... I think I can smell pumpkin/spice candles from here :) I'd be all ready to curl up in a chair with the new Christmas magazine!

PS love those cute glass and wire vessels from IKEA! Wish I lived closer to one....

I really like the collage of frames over the couch. It's a different yet creative touch!

Your home looks perfect for fall.

Hi Cindy, Sorry if you've mentioned this before--I'm sooo behind on reading my blogs, but where did you get your kitchen curtains? And I love the new color in there.

Hope you're doing well,
Marilyn

Wow- You got a LOT done! I love everything. I can't remember but is there a window behind the bparding (4th picture down-I think). It looks great the way you have everything set up.

Love the new color of your kitchen too! xo Diana
