Winter Wonderland. And Hank.

Magical things were afoot as we slumbered last night.  Upon awaking, we were met with a marshmallow world, and immediately my boys were all in a dither digging thru the hats and gloves, yanking on boots and coats, full of mirth and wonder.  And what did they do?  Well, being their mother's sons, they created something from what they had.

Meet Hank the Snowman.

I'm especially impressed with his eyes.  Wanna guess what they used?  Indeed, Hank's perfectly formed face  was endowed with the two halves of a plastic silly putty container.
My children are brilliant.

Bogart needed to inspect the new stranger in the land.

Thankfully Hank passed the sniff test.

And I just wanted to show you how utterly devoted I am as a Mom AND a blogger.

Behold.

Yes, if you were wondering, I have no pride.  Or common sense.  This would be me in my PJ's and boots.  The things I do for you people, I tell ya.

The proud sculptors pose with their latest DIY creation:

I'm linking this to Funky Junk Donna's Saturday Nite Special.  It's a good one.

okaybye.

I guessed silly putty container and was also saying that you needed a jacket when you said something about being out in Pj's! I love the snowman. We are in Georgia and do not usually get snow until Feb or March! I do love the beauty of it, but I know it aggravates some people to hear me say that! Hope you have a great day playing in the snow...or just looking out the window at it!

We also awoke to a "marshmallow world". Love the snowman eyes. Looks a bit like an alien snowman. Enjoy your day.

Well, I see you're in NE Indiana, so we are neighbors. I THOUGHT when I saw the little postage stamp picture on my blog following list that you MIGHT be in Indiana because it looks JUST LIKE THAT in my backyard too - - - sans Hank.

I LOVE Hank. His eyes are so beguiling!!!!

Fun post - - - keep 'em coming.

Oh, and I just went to my mailbox wrapped in my SNUGGIE - - - yes, I said sunggie.

Okay I guess taking a pic of you in jammies is equivalent to washing dishes in the buff. Love the jammies though. They look so comfy that I don't think I would EVER get out of them. In fact just bury me in them!

Hank is very dashing! What a creation. Mine just gripe and complain it is too cold. One is even counting down the days til spring and warm weather.

Hmm... me thinks the jammies pic would be a wonderful Today's Hot Find addition... :D :D :D

The snowy creation is tops! Kudos to your creative boys! And I smiled at your snow captures. There is nothing like a fresh new blanket of snow.

BTW... jammies, snow, blogging, (fresh coffee) ... priceless!

Thanks for linking this up to SNS!

Hank is cute! A little ET-alien looking with those green eyes, but cute. We have had snow several times too.
The jammies and boots show you are a totally dedicated blogger and mommy! Capturing all the memories.
Merry Christmas!
