Yesterday I was out in the garage minding my own business (translate: spraypainting), when I turned around to notice this:
My son has discovered his daddy's tools and was going to town on a display box they built together last weekend. He decided it needed a few tweaks. (Hmmmm, now where does he get that????)
He is also a collector (again, hmmmmmmm) and is really into these Bakugun magnetic thingys that spring open from a ball shape to reveal their attributes (don't ask....I know that sounds a bit, well, you know). He had the genius idea (I
know where he gets that from *snicker*) to drill screws into the bottom of the box for each little dude to sit on.
But he needed just one. more. screw
. Yes this child is certainly mine. Look at that determination!
See? Isn't that the coolest? He asked me to paint it for him. He's picking the color today.
Seeing my kids find passion for something, determination to follow thru, and joy in the completed project is what makes my life beautiful this rainy Friday.....and it's why I'm hooked on being a mama.
