A Lazy Friday Afternoon
Every room must have a touch of black. You've heard this decorating rule, right? Thankfully every room I go into has a touch of black because my big black dog Bogart follows me around everywhere, making himself quite comfy. Since all my kids are getting too old and impatient with my picture-taking, Bogart accomodates me quite well. And here he is....my mixed mutt from the shelter who loves me even when I eat too much ice cream.

Aren't dogs just the best companions? I literally carpeted my family room to match my dog. Um..., no really - I did. He's a cutie - thanks for sharing the pics!

Your dog is beautiful? You said he is a mutt, but does he have some Gordon setter in him? We used to have one and yours sure looks like him.

Bogart looks like a great dog...too cute! I am currently 'dogless' and sad about it too. I will most likely be searching for a 'white dog' as I am planning on white slipcovers soon! Great pics! Have a great weekend.

I so know what you mean. I dream of white slipcovers, or at least pale creamy linen ones. But with all the creatures and one man in my house, it probably will continue to be a dream. :)

What a cutie pie! We have a two year old lab and I cannot wait until he calms down enough to nap like that. I'd love to cuddle with him he just can't sit still long enough. What beautiful pictures. Sometimes it's the simple things that inspire the most, taking a break to enjoy the beauty of life.
You know what they say about dogs,
"A heartbeat at my feet"
Mr Ben goes everywhere I do in fact his aim in life is to get there before I do, which sometimes ends up with me falling over him as he rushes by!
