Yes, I know. But it will be ok, I promise.
As you can see, one of them is rather old, and they don't perfectly match. No worries. I wiped them down reeeeeaaaaalllly well, and went to work using this:

I also went hunting for shades that would fit these....no easy task, let me tell you. I finally found some at Tuesday Morning (if you don't have these 'round your parts, I pity you.) I added some ribbon with Glenda the Glue Gun because my daughter's room is painted chocolate brown.

Not too shabby I'd say. Maybe I'll keep 'em.
I just love the ORB spray paint....next to Heirloom White (and maybe Canyon Black), nothing transforms old yukkies like it! Do you think dd will like them?

If she don't like them smack her upside the head! Those are gorgeous now. Hard to imagine they are the same lamps. When I first saw them I thought "yuck". No more yuck now. Good job and how sweet to think of her.

Thanks for that post! I had no idea that they made oil rubbed bronze spray paint - my favorite- now I can spray paint everything!!!! Ya learn something everyday!
