2010's Top Projects.

PSSSST...I'm no longer blogging here!
You can now find me at

Rhoda's having a shindig:

Here's the highlights of the last 12 months at ::cottage instincts::

As I was going thru the last year's posts, I realized I have
several unfinished projects still simmering on the back burners, namely:
Each of the boys' bedrooms
Dining Room-to-office
Other big projects for the coming year include:
Sewing a sectional sofa slipcover
Painting several pieces of furniture
Possibly painting kitchen cabinets
Board and batten in hallway
Guest bath do-over

Hopefully I can get those finally finished...
or at least entertain you a bit this coming year as you follow along the antics
of one woman attempting to get in touch with her ::cottage instincts::

Nice list of accomplishments, Cindy! But that green dresser is still calling out to me. I think it wishes it was a Canadian. Ah well. Guess I'll just have to create a cousin one day. (eh?)

Happy New Year!

Such fun to look back on your year! You've done a lot, girlfriend. You oughta be proud. Actually, I think you've done enough there--don't you want to come here for 2011 and do cool stuff to my house? I'll be like your mom and make you cookies to eat. Or whatever you like. What do you think?

Oh, that ceiling! I love that ceiling. And the drunk person's chest.

You've done some great projects, and it sounds like there are some more great ones to come. I'll be following along.

I love your projects. They always inspire me in my house too. Everything you did in 2010 was beautiful! I got my dining room to sewing room finished, thank goodness. I'm making no plans for 2011 in that regard. Your list sounds most ambitious! Happy New Year, my "instinctive" friend!

Cindy, I love so many of your ideas! I homeschooled my youngest daughter through high school. I only wish our school room had looked that wonderful! The mirror wall is beautiful. I may copy it. Last, my youngest is about to move into an apartment with an A roof line. I think after I show her your daughter's bedroom, she will want to do something similiar with her room. Thanks so much for great ideas. I'm glad I stumbled across you! Happy New Year!

So glad you did a project round-up, Cindy! I didn't start reading your blog until the fall, and therefore missed a bunch of these goodies. However, the drunk-lady dresser was one of the first posts of yours that I did read and your sense of humor hooked me instantly. Looking forward to more laughs and project ideas from you in 2011! :)

Take care,
Erin
