I'm so sorry for your huge loss but what a blessed girl you are to have had her for your mom. You can see in her face what a wonderful person she was and she will continue to watch over you and your family. Take care.
cindy, i've followed your blog for quite awhile now. i've never commented until now. i am truly sorry about your mom. will be praying for you and your family, may you feel our Lord's comfort working through your heart and the hands of others.
I'm sending you a big fat cyber hug. So hard the loss of a parent I know.
May your days be filled with lots and lots of stories that you will hand down to the little ones of what a great person she was filled with lots and lots of laughter, giggles and smiles. It's been 20 years for me since the loss of my father, yikes just to write that seems like forever yet it feels like just yesterday. My siblings and I talk often about him and the wonderful stories that we are able to share with one another that only each other are privileged to remember is so heart warming for our children and it will be for his great grandchildren.
I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. My heart is breaking for you. There are no words that can bring you comfort, but know that I am thinking about you, praying that all the wonderful memories you have of your mom will comfort you, and the knowledge that someday you will see her again will bring you peace. Sending hugs and prayers your way.
Cindy....I am so very sorry that your mother had to leave. She was such a beautiful lady. You will be in my prayers. Take care of yourself and just do what you need to do.
I'm so very, very sorry for your loss, Cindy. I never knew my mom. But I would have wanted a relationship just like you had with yours. I know your heart is breaking. Hugs to you. Brenda
I'm so sorry for your loss. My sympathies to you and your family at this very difficult time. May you find peace in all of the lovely memories you have made over the years.
I too have been away from the blogs all summer. I came by to catch up and was so sorry to hear about your beautiful and strong mom. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs to you!
Cindy, Cindy - I'm so very sorry. I just saw this and your previous post. I watched my FIL suffer last year with cancer - watched my husbands heart break and my son grieves nightly still for his Poppa. The emotions you shared in the previous post are very real - and I understand so much more now that we are on the other side of this journey. We are still blessed and we thank God for his blessings - but something is missing in everything we do - something will always be missing. Bless your precious momma - she was beautiful and what a brave fight she fought. My thoughts, prayers and understanding are with you and your family. May you find peace and comfort in the coming days and months ahead.
Hi, Your blog sounds like me when I lost my Mom, it'll be 11 years on the 26th. Life is not the same at all. It just feels a little less color in everything. My Mom and I were really best buddies. God have us lots of time together tho. I am the only girl of 7 boys, but I was not a spoiled brat because of that. They, Mom and Dad spoiled me as an adult!! We lost Mom to an anyeurism, but from the time she got the bad headache to the time she went into the coma was about2 hours, and then we didn't have her anymore. Just writing this brings the tears, but they are tears of love, and friendship and hugs and talks. We didn't have any incling that she had any blockages, she didn't have headaches or any signs of illness. But, I thank God every morning and every evening for my time with her and Dad. my prayers and love are being sent to you... germaine
Just found your blog and it brought tears to my eyes. So sorry about your Mom. Mom's are such special people - someone whose place no one can ever take. She was a beautiful person and I am so glad she got to see her precious grandbaby.
