::A Cottage Bathoom Redo::

Ok, so like over a year ago I posted about how I was gonna redo my main floor bathroom.

We did actually *mostly* finish it before Robyn Rose (grandbaby extraordinare) joined us in April.

(I'm just not all that sure I can do a post without adding at least ONE pic of her princessness, I do apologize)

Mostly meaning: it was again functional, but not REALLY finished.
Now, it's as finished as it's gonna get.

Here is a psuedo-collage of the hideousness before:

And now, let's peek inside....

Tada.

New hardware purchased at Target.  I sprayed the existing hinges with brushed nickel.

Painted the wee thrift stool the same color as the cabs.

Shower curtain and towels from Marshall's.

Trafficmaster vinyl floor.  Not really happy with this.  The seams are coming up.

Used the existing counter, sink and faucet.

This has become my bathroom now, even though we have a room within our master bedroom that condescends to be a bathroom.
This newly refreshed room is right outside our bedroom door,
so I claimed it.

It looks beautiful Cindy! Love the colors you've used! I can see why you've staked your claim. :)

Love the colors... of course. And I'd snag that bathroom too :)

PS bummer on the floor but we almost used this in our rental house and now I'm really happy we didn't!

Very pretty Cindy. I can see why you are claiming it all for yourself. Every Queen needs her own bath!

Cindy, I love what you have done with your outdated bath. I still need to work on mine. It resembles your old bath.

Where did you get the white wall cabinet? I would love to have one in my bathroom.

It looks so nice, Cindy. Smart to paint the hinges. I usually do that...it is something most people never notice anyway.

Your little granddaughter is beautiful. I am betting she looks a LOT like YOUR baby pictures! xo Diana

I'd claim it, too! Very pretty!
So that floor~is it the vinyl planks, or just sheet vinyl? I'm looking at the planks for our kitchen and laundry room, but it they suck, I'll do something else.

Even if the seams are sucky, that floor still looks fab. What am I saying? The whole bathroom looks amazing! Almost as amazing as that sweet baby face - I don't know how you ever put her down and get anything done :)

Is that the peel and stick vinyl wood look floors? I wanted to use that in my bathroom. You think it happens all the time? the pulling up? anything you would have done differently in the installing of it?
