::Springlike Things::

PSSSST...I'm no longer blogging here!
You can now find me at

-----------------------------------------------------------------

You aren't gonna believe this, but I have a decorating post for you.

I know.  Wonders never cease.

I call this 'spring light' since I usually kinda go coo-coo with the mantel.
Proof here, here, here, and here.

All the candles would play an integral part in setting a particular mood a few days after these were taken.

A bit of pales on the drysink.

I didn't buy anything for 'spring decor' this year, just threw stuff I already had randomly around.

Added some white birdies to the kitchen hutch.
'Cause, well, you know.

Looking in from the dining nook.

Here's how it looked in the wee hours before Grandbaby Robyn Rose joined us:

Told ya those candles had a big part to play....burned thru 3 full sticks per holder waiting for Robyn.

I think a gigantic blue blow up pool really makes the whole room work, don't you?

Next up, the guest room and bath.

If you ever get this way with that baby bundle please stop in so I can get a peek. (FYI, the Busy Brush across the street has a new cafe opening up May 1 incase you need a dining spot for your girl lunches)

  8. Laughing out loud at that pool! Too cute! I do love that fireplace though. I forgot how beautiful it turned out. I almost painted mine like that too but had a couple of friends throw their bodies between me and the paintbrush. Every time I see yours I start thinking...hmmmmmmm...that sure would look good painted like hers...one of these days maybe.
