::some things are more important than paint colors::

PSSSST...I'm no longer blogging here!
You can now find me at

-----------------------------------------------------------------

....such as gathering 5 generations of beautiful women together to celebrate Mother's Day.

My Gramma Jess who will celebrate 95 years on this earth in August,
got her first glimpse of her great GREAT granddaughter....

She hardly took her eyes off Robyn the whole afternoon....

And of course there's my mom, Robyn's Great Gramma Susie...

...who is still, after 17 months of brutal treatments, BRAVELY fighting Stage 4 cancer in her liver, her lungs and her bones.
We are so grateful she is able to enjoy getting to know her great granddaughter,
even in her weakened physical state.

I can't express how these pictures make me feel.

Actually, yes.  I can.

I feel full and alive.

And I breath in this life every moment, eyes wide open, so as not to miss a second of the preciousness of family and love and feather-soft 95-year old skin next to feather-soft 17-day old skin...

....and 3-day-old cobbler made with canned cherries.

  1. Cindy-What a beautiful, precious family portrait. You Mother and Grandmother are both beautiful women..well...you ALL are but I am mentioning your gramma because of her age!!!! She looks wonderful and your Mom because she is fighting cancer and really looks great.

I am sure these pictures put a lump in your throat and a clutch in your heart. Blessings and Happy Mother's Day to you- xo Diana
